"How to Set up a Medical Garden for Under $250" on YouTube I like options. There are growers who are using or who have used interesting and effective methods of growing their medicine. I thought Id' share this with the group here, for anyone who isn't already aware of the video. 👍💪
I created a social site that focuses on marijuana... Pot Swap Club, were people are able to trade marijuana and more. I created it last year, however I had some health problems and other issues and had to put the site on hold, but now i'm back in action. I just added forums and could use knowledgeable people , if interested, please watch the short video and visit the site... https://potswap.club/ To our success in life "What we tell ourselves, our brain believes"

I also looked into this! Meant to respond but didn't! It sounds interesting. I'm not afraid of using anaerobic techniques to compost... The only thing that gets me is the "bokashi tea" LOL. I don't want any part of that. I only do "AACTs" Actively Aerated Compost Teas. Aerobic teas avoid the dangers of e-coli. And it seems they actively promote putting in anything in bokashi compost, including any meat. Anaerobic techniques are so yesterday (kidding). There's a cool anaerobic composting technique to prepare substrate for mushroom producing fungi to consume. You soak wood in water for 4 weeks (it gets completely anaerobic) and then suddenly dump out the water! The oxygen then sterilizes the wood and it becomes appetizing to aerobic fungi. That being said, this is really interesting. I wonder how the E.M. work. They are anaerobic microorganisms mostly. On Wiki it says lactic acid bacteria, photosynthetic bacteria, yeast, and others (maybe archaea)? The source seems legit. I just would be a little wary of touching that compost and the teas and from the videos I've seen it seems other people are who do it haha
@JohnnyCakes Excellent input. I agree about air and avoiding meat products in compost. "Making compost from garden and other wastes, the principles and some results" -- Charles Dowding, Have you seen this? Thank you. for your input. 👍 I am trying to simplify soil amendments and avoid elaborate "recipes". I think you and I share that quest. Keep It Simple, but nobody's stupid. 🤣
@Plant Medicine Heals I did watch it but I watched again, I usually learn more. I really liked his notes on the worms part in the compost. They bring some of the superstar microbe players into the hot compost pile. I've been thinking about making a post about cold compost piles and ways to get them to compost faster. I also liked what he said about coffee brown compost as the ideal. Very interesting. These salsemen out and about are confusing people with their talk about "black gold" and yadi yadi humic acids etc. Really though, that kind of compost primarily holds microorganisms that decay, not really decaying material itself (unless recently enriched). And while it has many fantastic properties, brown compost contains more active cycling of nutrients, which we want for growing plants. That's the trick to organic gardening really
I actually watched the first one^. I learned something about lights. He says a lot of good stuff. I rebuke him for saying you need an oscilating fan! Lies! Technically, I grew my last grow w/ two fans pointed really particularly w/ 3 plants in a 3x3 space and almost no trimming. So with some bushes. Oscillating fans are too expensive mayn. Also if starting from seed you can use upcycle a yogurt cup or some bish as a pot. No need for a red solo cup unless it's leftover from a party! $250 sounds about right for an indoor grow startup. MAN I wanna get a bunny so I never have to buy nutes again for my indoor grows. Also having a bunny just sounds dank. Chef B used to have them when he grew in the outback LOL he said they make perfect cannabis nutrients! I''ve been wanting one since!
Yeah. I think everyone is going to differ on something once in a while. I also prefer a simplified, less expensive approach.. People have different circumstances. Johnny, do you prefer a 3x3 to a 4x4?
@Plant Medicine Heals Shit, my post got erased. I'll try it quickly again. Well said. I've never used a 4x4 so I donno. I would say less plants in a bigger room would be way easier of a way to do it. 3 plants was pretty crazy haha. In a 3x3 space that is
