Hello fellow growers! I am seeking some recommendations for a fairly large indoor basement grow with (8) 4’x8’x1.5’ fabric beds. I would like to do this the no-till living soil way which I have about 2 years experience with on a much smaller scale: 8x8 room with (6) 15 gal smartpots. I created my own soil recipe in the past with many MANY ingredients and amendments, red wigglers, beneficial mites, pretty much the works. It was also veganic (i.e. no animal manure in the recipe). The problem with using the same recipe (which is amazing) now on a much larger scale is the cost and ability to source massive amounts of so many things. I am now taking on a designated grower role for a patient with a very large license. Just to put some rough soil requirments out there, I need about 15 cubic yards of medium. I would love to hear some advice and opinions from the community. The budget allows for top of the line equipment. Lights being considered are the California lightworks solarsystem 1100, and/or the Horticulture Lighting group HLG 550 v2. I‘ve never used blumat drip systems but i’m considering it. Also please keep in mind that I am in Canada, southern Ontario, so shipping can be ridiculous for some imported items. The idea of a complete single all around living organics type of product is attractive for the volume I have to deal with. Thankfully it will only be once. Any feedback is greatly appreciated, thanks!
